About this Event

Join the Clark County Historical Museum at the Vancouver Pride Block Party for a special presentation with Daniel Quasar, the designer of the internationally recognized Pride Progress Flag.

This free public event invites audiences into “Curating A Life – An Afternoon With Daniel Quasar,” an immersive and deeply personal guided tour through Quasar’s life, creative work, and artistic evolution. Framed as a living museum exhibit, the presentation moves through a series of imaginative “galleries” and “halls” exploring childhood, design, drag performance, music, mental health, and the creation of the Progress Pride Flag.

Blending storytelling, images, video, humor, and reflection, Quasar’s presentation offers an intimate look at the experiences and ideas that shaped one of the most recognizable symbols of contemporary LGBTQ+ pride and inclusion.
