Session Description:
In today’s competitive talent market, people have more choice than ever — and where they choose to work has become a key part of their identity. This session explores how a well-crafted Employer Value Proposition (EVP) helps institutions stand out, attract the right talent, and build long-term engagement. We’ll examine how to develop an EVP, make the business case for it, and use data-driven insights to build alignment and shape consensus across diverse stakeholders.

Nicole Thomas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in employer branding and client strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Consulting - Brand Strategy + EVP at Cielo Talent since January 2021, Nicole previously held the position of Senior Manager, Employer Brand Research & Strategy at Symphony Talent from February 2011 to January 2021. Nicole's expertise includes defining, developing, and activating employer brands for global clients, as well as providing strategic direction to enhance client satisfaction and retention. With additional experience as an Account Manager at Vericom and as an Adjunct Professor at Atlanta Metropolitan College, Nicole possesses a strong background in research, teaching, and client relations, complemented by a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Georgia.
