CUNY/UA Intervisitation: 30Q417, Gotham Tech HS, ICT ELA and Science

Ms. Jessica Juhrend, Ms. Jennifer Flores, and the leadership of the Gotham Tech High School invite you to visit their classrooms! We'll be focusing on ICT in English and science, with a lens on literacy practices. If you are able to step out of your school for the afternoon, we would love for you to join us!
Please note that, to keep the space and time manageable, we can accommodate only up to 11 teachers in each class (11 ELA, 11 science), after which registration will be closed. A wait list will be maintained in event of cancellations. When you register, please select the right ticket for your subject area, ELA or science.

If you wish to attend, please commit to the following:

• Show up as a learner and colleague.
• Mindfully manage your energy and focus.
• Observe the relevant class, and participate in the debrief session.
• Take low-inference notes, with a focus on the ways in which ICT model(s) and literacy strategies are supporting student learning.
• Refrain from photographing students' faces and/or names on work products, and ask students' permission before photographing work products.
• Offer collegial feedback based on low-inference observation.
