Cumbiadélica Festival is a celebration of that evolution, honoring the many subgenres that make Cumbia a living, breathing force. From traditional Mexican Cumbia to electronic, club-bumping beats, street-style Sonideros, and the psychedelic swirl of Peruvian Chicha, this festival brings the full spectrum together for one special gathering.
The one-day, all ages festival takes over Austin staples 29th St Ballroom on April 18, 2026, featuring two stages of all-day and all-night music 2pm-2am. Beyond the dance floor, the festival will feature a Cumbia dance class, community ofrendas, a local vendor and artisan market, a family-friendly crafts area, and a Cumbia drumming workshop—creating space for movement, creativity, and fun at every level. Dust off your dancing shoes, bring your people, and step into the party as Cumbia rhythms take over.
