About this Event

Dr. Niki Collier is launching her solo show, “Monsters and Me”, the result of a year of reconnaissance into the culture of festivals celebrating fear and transformation. The multidisciplinary conversation draws from participatory art events exploring Bulgarian Kukeri and Irish Mummers traditions. The exhibition features masks and sculptural works examining identity, ritual, and collective memory. The event includes a live performance and an artist talk. Dr. Niki Collier is a highly accomplished, Dublin-based multidisciplinary visual artist, educator, and designer internationally known for her innovative fiber art, large-scale installations, and deeply collaborative, socially engaged practice.
