Culture Love is a free showcase celebrating the creativity and cultural pride of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and their roles as cultural ambassadors. It began as a thriving school holiday program engaging youth, Elders, artists, and musicians, delivered through Indigenous Knowledge Centres located in regional Queensland communities from 2009 to 2013.
Featuring visual art, animation, photography, storytelling, and music, the showcase explores how young people from regional and remote Queensland communities’ express identity through diverse creative forms drawing on traditional stories and language.
