Collecting is more than acquiring and owning artworks; it is a practice of developing vision, commitment to an artist and purpose over time. Every collection reflects a story and raises an essential question: What role do you want to play in shaping the cultural landscape?

Vanessa Selk — Founding Artistic Director of the TOUT-MONDE Art FOUNDATION (TMAF), Curator, Advisor and Collector.

As an independent advisor as well as collector, Selk works with emerging collectors and institutions across the Caribbean and internationally, guiding the development of meaningful collections while fostering greater visibility and representation for artists from the region.

She holds a degree in International Relations and Political Science from Sciences Po Paris and pursued studies in contemporary art at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York.

The Cultural Rendezvous Series is a recurring gathering that brings together creative minds, local artists, and cultural professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and explore Broward County’s dynamic cultural ecosystem. Hosted by the Broward County Cultural Division’s Public Art & Design Program and curated by Sophie Blachet, the series alternates between informal networking meetups and expert-led conversations at arts venues throughout Broward County.
