Summary: Discover the raw beauty of dyeing materials with local natural flora and other native pieces.
About this event: The ladies of Miti Nukang have been reaching back to traditional dyeing methods, experimenting and building knowledge of these practices to take into the future. They want to share this knowledge with you.
Join us for a morning of discovery, learning, and hands-on experimentation using our natural materials to create environmental dyes. Listen to the ladies as they describe the processes discovered to create some of the pieces on display in the Miti Nukang exhibition space. Don't forget to bring your apron!
All materials and equipment will be provided.
