Cultural Currents event brings together the city’s art, culture, historic preservation organizations, and advocates in one shared space, clearing up confusion and highlighting how each group plays a vital role in shaping our cultural future.At this event, you’ll discover how each organization contributes to a larger movement, spotlighting the transformation of the Fall River Waterfront Cultural District. It’s a chance to get your questions answered and learn how to better access information for future projects.

Step into the soul of Fall River’s waterfront with an immersive evening celebrating its vibrant culture, iconic architecture, and creative vision.
Photographic Exhibit – August 15th-31st only - Discover stunning images that showcase the landmarks, attractions, and businesses that make the district special and memorable
Preservation Panel Discussion – Hear from leading art, cultural, and preservation groups as they share their missions, initiatives, possible funding opportunities and how these local organizations help shape the city’s cultural future.
Significant Structures Showcase – Learn about key landmarks featured on the Waterfront District’s Significant Structures List, including their historical importance, architectural features, and role in community revitalization efforts.
This is a free public forum for every resident, artist, history & preservation lover, or advocate.
