Shodo, the art of Japanese calligraphy, expresses beauty, balance, and emotion through the movement of a brush. Each stroke reflects presence, discipline, and the harmony between mind and hand.

Michiko Imai, a master calligrapher from Nara, Japan, has won national awards and exhibited her work in major Japanese museums. Since 2008, she has taught and performed widely, established her own studio, and collaborated with universities and cultural institutions across the country.

We invite you to experience a Shodo demonstration that highlights the elegance and depth of this traditional Japanese art form.
