Join facilitator Stephanie Frykholm for a writing workshop designed to uplift, nourish, connect, and sustain us as we face an unsettling future. Please register at www.ecologybasedeconomy.org/events.
Writing helps us digest our grief and fears. Writing keeps us steady. Writing feeds the creative imagination, our essential ally as we face the daunting task of reinventing our world.
We will use prompts and timed, freestyle writing. This kind of writing anchors us in the present moment, that potent place of aliveness from which inspiration and action arise.
Please note: This will not be a space for feedback, dialogue, critique, or debate. Rather, it will be a safe, respectful space for honoring language and bearing witness to one another’s voice. This workshop is suitable for teens and adults, new and seasoned writers alike.
* The workshop will begin promptly at 10:00am. Please plan to arrive in enough time to settle in so that we can begin together. Light snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your lunch if you want. Please register ahead.
Led by Stephanie Frykholm, a writer, healer, & spiritual midwife who creates welcoming spaces for transformation. Her workshops & retreats explore the intersection of creativity, mindfulness, embodiment, & spirituality. Stephanie lives in West Paris.
