This event is full. Please Email Heidi to be placed on a wait list.
There is something magical about being with a group of women, choosing to accompany each other on a journey of self-discovery, away from the pressures and distractions of daily life, dropping into a sacred space together, relaxing their usual personas, and welcoming each other into the present moment.
Heidi invites six women to treat themselves to a long weekend of cultivating deeper connections with themselves, each other, her herd of horses, and all that nature has to offer in the beautiful mountains of Vermont. This experience sets the stage for a memorable weekend filled with camaraderie and connection.
Retreat guests will learn how to communicate with horses in their own kinesthetic, natural language by exploring the art and science of Horse Speak®, the authentic language system of horses. Both experienced and new Horse Speak practitioners will practice asking and answering whatever questions the horses bring, creating connection, confidence, and mutual trust. Enrichment for horses and humans abounds!
Our days will be filled with:
Meditation as we feel the sun and wind on our faces, listen to the babbling brook, and enjoy the sounds of nature that greet us each morning
Interactions with horses in their natural habitats and inviting them into ours
Partnering with horses at liberty, in the picadero (square pen), and in-hand in our arena
Discovering what each horse is valuing in the moment and learning how to provide that for them, building deep rapport
Nurturing our bodies with activities that revolve around “letting go” of what no longer serves us, mindful movement practices, and walking around the property.
Enhancing our mind, body, and spirit with joyful activities, both creative and physical, such as rock collecting, axe throwing, roping (cones and a dummy steer 😉 ), and disc golf.
This weekend promises to open your heart and mind, relax your body, and nurture your soul. Horses are provided for this non-riding Retreat. All levels of equine experience are welcome—no prior knowledge is required. All you need to bring is an open heart, an open mind, and a love of nature and horses. Healthy snacks and drinks are provided. Lunch can be brought in or purchased locally.

Saturday 9:30 am-5:00 pm
