Cultivating Change: Marking Islamophobia Awareness Month

Every year Islington Council delivers a programme of equality events which provide an opportunity to learn about and celebrate the diversity that exists in our borough.   

This year to mark Islamophobia Awareness Month we want to emphasise the importance of how small actions contribute to big change, in line with this year’s Islamophobia Awareness Month theme, which is ‘Seeds of Change’.   

Our ‘Cultivating Change’ event will include guest speakers, exhibitions, food and informative conversations as we stand together in Islington. It will raise awareness of Islamophobia in the borough and the steps to take to create a supportive environment for the Muslim community.
