🎶🔥 Backyard Tour Send-Off | Alec Bang & The Cult Classics 🔥🎶Before The Cult Classics head out on their Pacific Northwest tour, we’re gathering in Dan Muir’s backyard for one final Salt Lake City celebration.
Dirk is moving to Eugene and this will be a day of music, art, performance, strange beauty, and community support to celebrate someone who is loved deeply and help send him off right.
✨ The Gathering
Suggested donation is $15, though everyone is welcome. Give what you can. If you feel inspired to help carry the vision further and have more to give your generosity is deeply appreciated. 💵
We believe art moves through community. This is one small way we help launch the people creating beauty around us.
✨ Food & Drinks
We’ll have burgers, brats, veggie burgers, and beverages available throughout the day in exchange for donation.
You’re welcome to bring your own food/drinks but consider letting us feed you and pour your drinks for you!

Alongside Alec Bang & The Cult Classics, expect appearances from some of Salt Lake’s most interesting performers, including:

✨ Merch Table for the Traveling Cult
We’ll have a full spread of Cult Classics merchandise available throughout the day:
• T-shirts
• patches
• stickers
• pins
• temporary tattoos
• assorted strange artifacts and wearable propaganda
Every shirt worn, patch stitched, and sticker slapped onto a water bottle or bathroom wall helps carry the band further down the road.
✨ The Space
Dan Muir’s backyard has quietly become one of Salt Lake’s hidden sanctuaries for art, music, and community gathering. Over the years it has hosted intimate performances from the Backyard Revival, Sage & Aera, celebrations, and unexpected moments of connection. For this send-off, the space will transform once again into a little world of its own.
