Join us for an interactive sourdough workshop where you’ll learn how naturally fermented bread supports gut health and overall wellness. We’ll walk through each step of the process together, from mixing to shaping, while exploring the science behind sourdough’s benefits. You’ll leave with your own freshly baked loaf and an active starter to continue your sourdough journey at home.
Meet our guest instructor: KALEY
Owner and baker, Kaley McNeil, was born and raised in Central Florida and has always had a love for the way food brings people together. After struggling with food sensitivities in young adulthood, she began focusing on more wholesome food choices, and decided to cut out gluten from her diet. After over a decade of eating gluten-free, she learned about sourdough bread, and it completely changed her relationship with bread!
Slow Rise Sourdough Co. started in her home kitchen as a way to make simple, gut-friendly bread for her family while raising two little ones. After sharing a batch of homemade sourdough bagels with a friend, unexpected orders began pouring in and her kitchen turned into a community-loved micro-bakery! Today, they handcraft sourdough bagels each week while staying rooted in the same mission: wholesome ingredients, slow fermentation, and nourishing our community one sourdough bagel at a time.
