Culinary Entrepreneurship Certification Camp '25

At Culinary Entrepreneurship Certification Camp, campers will embark on a hands-on journey into the world of food preparation, kitchen management, and catering, all while earning a valuable certification from Tucson Village Farm. This camp is designed to teach the practical skills needed for a career in the culinary and hospitality industries. Over the course of the camp, participants will learn the art of menu planning, food safety, cooking techniques, and budgeting. They’ll also receive valuable training in customer service, teamwork, and event management—crucial skills in not only the hospitality world but in everyday life.

On Saturday, the culminating activity will have campers test out their skills assisting with a catering event at a lavender farm in Sonoita, AZ.

By the end of the camp, campers will not only have developed essential job skills, but they will also earn a Tucson Village Farm Catering Certification—a great resume builder. This camp is the perfect starting point for This camp will take place at the 4-H Healthy Living Center located at 2201 E. Roger Rd.

Ages: 13 - 17

Dates: June 16 - 21

Please note - this camp is in the afternoon, Monday - Saturday. Schedule:

Monday-Thursday at Tucson VIllage Farm, 2:30pm-5:30pm, Friday 2:30pm-6:30pm, Saturday 6am-6pm (Transportation to and from Sonoita, AZ included)

Cost: $350
