Location

Cuddleglow is a facilitated container for sharing platonic, consensual touch, understanding your boundaries, and building cuddly community.
About this Event

Touch is a basic human need, yet many of us rarely experience it in ways that feel safe, intentional, and nourishing.

This event begins with a guided workshop on boundaries, consent, and communication, followed by an optional open cuddle space where participants can practice these skills and experience platonic connection with others in a warm and supportive environment.

Whether you are interested in deepening your relationship with consent and boundaries, craving wholesome human connection, or simply looking for more cuddle events, this space is designed to meet you where you are.

Who This Event Is For

If you are someone who is...

  • curious about platonic cuddle spaces, or
  • interested in strengthening your boundaries and communication skills, or
  • seeking meaningful, authentic connection, or
  • interested in somatic awareness and nervous system regulation, or
  • wanting to experience safe, respectful touch...

... then you are in the right place!

You do not need to be experienced with cuddle events to attend – first-time attendees are very welcome.

What to Expect

The event is divided into two parts.

Part 1: Consent & Connection Workshop

We begin with a structured, interactive workshop where you learn and practice the core skills that make cuddle spaces feel safe and nourishing.

Topics and exercises include:

  • Practicing giving and receiving both yes and no gracefully
  • Recognizing and respecting personal boundaries – other people's and your own
  • Learning how to ask for touch in a clear and respectful way
  • Noticing your own body’s signals and nervous system responses
  • Simple connection exercises designed to build comfort, trust, and attunement

These exercises gently cultivate connection and safety between participants while staying playful and lighthearted.

Part 2: Open Cuddle Space

After the workshop, the space transitions into a relaxed cuddle environment where participants can connect with one another using the communication and consent skills introduced earlier.

You may choose to:

  • sit and talk
  • cuddle with others
  • connect quietly
  • observe and take things slowly
  • take breaks whenever you need

There is no expectation to cuddle, and participation is always optional.

Some people cuddle, while others prefer to simply relax and enjoy the warm atmosphere of the space. Both are completely welcome.

Consent Culture

Consent is the foundation of this event. You'll be guided through simple practices that help everyone feel comfortable expressing their needs and respecting those of others.

  • You can say no to any request, invitation, or exercise, at any time.
  • You may change your mind at any time.
  • Asking before touching is required, every time.
  • No one is ever obligated to cuddle with anyone.
  • Respecting boundaries is mandatory.

These principles create the container that makes this type of space possible.

We take consent very seriously: Anyone who does not follow these rules will be asked to leave without a refund and will not be allowed to attend future events.

Additional Guidelines
  • Sexual Behavior: This is a platonic, non-sexual event. Sexual behavior or sexualized touch is not allowed. Participants must remain fully clothed at all times.
  • Sobriety: This event is a substance-free space. Drugs and alcohol can interfere with one's ability to give real consent. Please arrive sober.
  • Phones & Photography: To protect privacy and maintain the atmosphere of the space, phones and other devices aren't allowed in the main cuddle space. Phones can be used in the hallway and snack area. No photography or video recording is allowed at any time during the event.
  • Hygiene & Fragrances: Please arrive clean and freshly showered if possible. Since this event involves close physical proximity, good hygiene helps keep the space comfortable for everyone. Breath mints will be available – please use them :-) For the same reasons, please also go light on body scents & fragrances.

What to Bring

We suggest bringing one or more of the following items with you to make your experience more comfortable and meaningful:

  • A water bottle (you can refill in the kitchen)
  • Comfortable clothing or cozy layers – San Francisco weather is unpredictable, even indoors
  • Substantial food if you need it. Light snacks will be provided but not enough for a full meal.
  • A notepad or journal and a pen/pencil for personal reflection
  • A favorite pillow, blanket, or stuffed animal

Location

The event will take place in a comfortable indoor space at a private home in the Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco.

The exact address will be shared with registered participants after ticket purchase.

Unfortunately, this space is NOT wheelchair-accessible; there is a set of stairs with no alternative entry possible.

Arrival Time

Because the workshop portion builds the consent culture of the space, this event is a closed container.

Doors open at 1:00 PM and close at 1:30 PM -- SHARP. No entry will be permitted after doors close, no exceptions. Tickets will not be refunded for late arrivals.

Please arrive on time so that everyone can share the same foundation for the experience. We recommend that you aim to get there BEFORE 1:00pm so that you have time to find parking and get checked in.

Cost

To help make the event accessible while supporting the space, we offer a sliding-scale community pricing structure.

Please choose the option that feels most appropriate for you.

  • Supporter Ticket — $50
If you have a high-paying job or are otherwise financially free to do so, please consider purchasing a Supporter Ticket. This allows us to offer discounted tickets for attendees who would have a difficult time purchasing a ticket otherwise.
  • Standard Ticket — $40
If you are financially stable, choose this ticket.
  • Financial Hardship Ticket — $30
If the cost of a Standard Ticket would put financial strain on you, you may purchase a lower cost ticket. These discounted tickets are subsidized by the generosity of our Supporter Ticket buyers.

About the Facilitators

Cuddleglow is facilitated by two San Francisco community organizers who are passionate about creating spaces where people can connect in authentic, respectful, and nourishing ways.

Event Photos

Our goal is to cultivate environments where boundaries are honored, communication is encouraged, and people can experience human closeness without pressure or expectation.

We believe that when clear consent culture is present, spaces for platonic connection can be deeply supportive, grounding, and joyful.
