Sugar Mill Country Club is hosting a Golf Tournament on October 14th, 2024, to benefit Cudas UnHooked, a non-profit organization supporting homeless and at-risk students in their journey to become educated, independent, and contributing members of society. The Monday Scramble event begins with an 8:30 am shotgun start and includes breakfast, golf, range balls, prizes, lunch, and a tee gift. Through initiatives like the Cuda Club at New Smyrna Beach High School and the Cuda House, a residential home with a live-in House Parent, Cudas UnHooked connects students with mentors, resources, and support to help them overcome obstacles and graduate. The entry fee for the tournament is $150, with checks payable to "Cudas UnHooked." Cash donations are also encouraged. Sign-up forms, entry fees, and donations can be dropped off at the golf shop.
