Workshops are only available to schools attendees who have already registered for the Cambridge Undergraduate Conference in German Studies 2026. To attend any workshops, you must sign up for tickets here.

You do not need tickets for the following activities, as your Conference registration is sufficient:

Language Learning and AI Workshop (Y11-13; requires eventbrite tickets)

Info: Students in Y11-13 are welcome to attend this workshop on AI and language learning. If you are booking a ticket for an under 16, you must book a ticket for an adult to accompany them.

Info: Tours will be offered of Trinity Hall, St Catharine's College, and Emmanuel College. Attendees will be allocated to one of these three colleges. If there are under 16s in your group, they will need to be accompanied by an adult and that adult will need a ticket.

Description: What makes German such a special language to learn? This session explores the unique selling points (USPs) of German, foregrounding the language’s intrinsic appeal rather than its instrumental value.
