About this Event
The Craft of Cubism has puzzled generations of viewers since it first appeared in Paris, France.
In collaboration with Rosen JCC and Winter Garden Arts Association, this hands-on art class led by artist Nicora Gangi, discover the bold and intriguing world of Cubism. We’ll explore how Cubism revolutionized art—from Picasso’s early multi-perspective works to later collage techniques used by artist, David Hockney—through a brief visual presentation that brings its history and concepts to life. Then, you’ll create your own geometric, multi-view artwork and gain a deeper understanding of how Cubist artists saw and assembled the world. If you're experienced or brand-new to art, this creative session offers a fun, inspiring way to learn and experiment.
***All supplies are included for the class and lunch will be provided afterwards***
