The Cube of Truth is een straat campagne waarbij het publiek wordt voorgelicht op een directe, structurele manier. We maken gebruik van beelden waarbij standaard praktijken worden getoond op schermen om zo de waarheid van de dierenteelt te tonen aan het publiek. We gaan dan met het publiek ‘ een-op-eengesprek aan om ze zo voor te lichten over het dierenmisbruik in deze industrie. Vooraleer je deeleneemt aan een Cube of Truth is het verplicht dat je onze AV outreach protocol leert door de volledige ‘Holding Non-Vegans accountable’ outreach workshop te bekijken en ons AV Outreach Protocol document leest:

Maskers, borden en outreach kaartjes worden voorzien door de organisatoren. Breng aub een volledig geladen laptop of tablet mee als je er een hebt. Zorg ook dat onze standaard Cube beelden en aanbevolen media player al gedownload is en klaar is om continu af te spelen. Het is belangrijk om je toestel op voorhand in orde te maken. Zorg ervoor dat je toestel op stil staat, dat wifi is afgezet(om batterijduur te sparen), dat helderheid op maximum staat en dat paswoord veiligheid niet op staat.

Wanneer je deelneemt aan een Cube vragen we je om geen geen tas of persoonlijke spullen met je mee te brengen tenzij het echt noodzakelijk is. Als je toch iets meebrengt, vragen we je om je tas bij je te houden tijdens het event. Dus het is aangeraden om mee te nemen wat echt noodzakelijk is. Alle spullen die je meebrengt naar een Cube vallen onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid. Organisatoren zullen je spullen niet opbergen en zijn niet verantwoordelijk voor jouw persoonlijke spullen.
Draag steeds gepaste kledij voor het weer dat effen zwart of kledij van AV is. We vragen je geen kledij te dragen met logo's of tekeningen van andere organisaties noch kledij met vegan tekst. Dit is essentieel voor het behoud van de esthetiek van de Cube. Je kan de officiële kledij van AV aanschaffen via onze website: cubeoftruth.com. Absoluut geen enkel stuk kledij en schoenen mag gedragen worden op de Cube of Truth dat vervaardigd is uit dieren. Fake fur(inclusief faux fur kragen) zijn eveneens ook niet toegelaten.
Respecteer AV chapter organisatoren en alle andere vrijwilligers ten allen tijden, houd je aan onze structuur en vertegenwoordig onze basiswaarden wanneer je deelneemt aan een Cube of Truth. De ernst en het professionalisme van onze acties staan direct evenredig met hoe het publiek ons aanschouwt.

The Cube of Truth is a street outreach campaign that employs direct action with the public, in a structured manner. We use standard practice footage displayed on screens to expose the truth about animal agriculture to the public and one on one conversations to educate them about animal exploitation. Masks, signs, and outreach cards are provided by the organisers. Please bring a fully charged laptop or tablet if you have one, with our standard Cube footage and recommended media player already downloaded and ready to play on a loop. It is important to prepare your device ahead of time. Make sure your device is muted, has Wi-Fi disabled (to preserve battery life), has brightness maximized and password protection disabled.

When attending a Cube of Truth, please do not bring bags or personal belongings unless you absolutely need to. If you do, this means you will be wearing your bag for the duration of the event, so pack lightly. Any items brought to the Cube are your responsibility. ORGANISERS WILL NOT BE STORING AND ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS IN ANY WAY.
Always wear weather appropriate, PLAIN BLACK or AV branded clothing without any graphics, including logos of other organisations and/or vegan messages. This is essential to our aesthetic. You can purchase official AV clothing on our website: cubeoftruth.com. Absolutely no animal derived clothing and no fake fur (including faux fur trims) and footwear is to be worn at a Cube of Truth.
Respect AV chapter organisers and other volunteers at all times, adhere to our structure and represent our core values while attending a Cube of Truth. The seriousness and professionalism of our actions are directly proportional to how the public perceives us.
