Have you always wanted to learn how to dance Cuban Rumba? Then this is the course for you! Join Cuban choreographer and educator Kati Hernandez's signature program. IN PERSON & ONLINE for a 4-session course designed for the BEGINNER DANCER. You can expect a step-by-step introduction to Cuban Rumba with a comprehensive course syllabus that starts with 5 basic steps of Rumba, and focuses on footwork, posture, body movement, and musicality drills. You will cultivate the INTENTIONS and nuances of movements to help you develop a more authentic form of expression on the dance floor. The class will also weave in cultural and historical information about this graceful and powerful form of Cuban music and dance. Rumba celebrates self-expression, joy, and resilience. Get it right from the start!
