We are thrilled to announce an exciting weekend of Cuban dance with the incredible Yanek Revilla, directly from Santiago de Cuba! Yanek is bringing his expertise in Son, the elegant and energetic dance that laid the foundation for Salsa and Bachata. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or new to the scene, this workshop is open to all levels, and no partner is needed.

Saturday, February 22:

Join Yanek for an in-depth exploration of Son, a dance form with deep cultural roots. You'll experience both the elegance and energy that Son has to offer, with a focus on foundational techniques that will elevate your Salsa and Bachata moves.
🌟 Sabor Saturday Social | 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Enjoy a lively night of dancing and socializing to a vibrant mix of Son, Salsa, and more at GEC at Casa Azafrán. It’s the perfect way to practice your new moves and connect with fellow dancers.

Sunday, February 23:
🌟 Lunch and Learn | 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM
Yanek will guide you through the cultural narratives and social dynamics that shape Cuban dance. It’s a chance to deepen your understanding and appreciation of this rich art form. Lunch will be provided by Blackwood Restaurant.
🌟 Rueda de Son Class | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Join us for an exciting class focused on Rueda de Son, a group-style dance that brings the energy of Son to the next level. No partner needed, but be prepared to have fun and move!
🌟 Sunday Fiesta Social Dance | 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Wrap up the weekend with a high-energy social dance session featuring the best mix of Son, Timba, Salsa, and Bachata. It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase everything you’ve learned and dance the afternoon away. $10
