Glam Occasions Event Planners welcomes you to CUBA! Cuba early 1900’s was a bustling thriving community that everyone wanted to invest and be a part of the development. During the prohibition, it was a premier get away for Americans to relax and sip.From the harbors of New York and Chicago, Americans fled to Havana aboard “Blacktails”-luxury seaplanes with black painted tail fins. Travel by air was afforded to only the wealthiest revelers. These black painted tail fins let the authorities and military know these were not spy’s but harmless wealthy citizens going to Cuba to have a good time. These elite now had the occasion to wear their finest tuxedos and custom gowns with a red carpet VIP entrance directly from their planes.
