Ready to get hooked on a new adventure? Join us for the Cub Scout Fishing Derby at City Lake Park, Jamestown on Saturday, September 13, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM! This event is a great way to kick off the new Scouting year and is open to all new, existing, and future Cub Scouts and their families.

What to Expect:
Fish with us: You can choose between two flights to best fit your family's schedule:
Flight 1: 8:00 AM - 9:45 AM
Flight 2: 10:15 AM - 12:00 PM
Learn from the pros: New to fishing? No problem! Our certified angling instructors will be on hand to teach you the ropes.
Fun awards: We'll be giving out awards for the largest, smallest, and most fish caught in each flight.
Patches: The first 100 participants are guaranteed a fishing derby patch!
Join Scouting: This location is perfect if you're thinking about joining Cub Scouts. We'll have a special presentation, and if you sign up on the spot, you'll receive a free fishing rod and reel! It's the perfect opportunity to see Scouting in action and get all your questions answered.
Cost: This event is completely FREE! We'll even provide the bait. Please bring your own fishing rod and reel, if you have one.
