Hailing from Berlin, Germany, these four musicians perform tangos of the Golden Age of tango from the 1940’s, highlighting the style of the grand orchestras of Di Sarli, Troilo, D’Arienzo, Pugliese, and Salgán, plus adding some contemporary tangos from Argentina and Europe.Come welcome the Cuarteto Rotterdam for this sit-down concert (no dancing) with Argentine wines during intermission. You won’t want to miss these exciting musicians: Michael Dolak, bandoneón, Judy Ruks, piano, Susanne Cordula Welsh, violin, and Facundo Leónidas di Pietro, double bass, making their only Washington, DC appearance this Spring just for the DC Tango Festival!
