Creatie-workshop waarin we aan de slag gaan met de taal van de catwalk. We nemen de M/B-training als uitgangspunt, M/B staat voor: Muscle/Bone, Mind/Body, Movement/Brain. In deze bewegingsreeksen komen dynamiek, collectiviteit, waakzaamheid, ritme, uithoudingsvermogen, coördinatie, flexibiliteit aan bod. We verkennen micromovement, imagework, sensitiviteit en touch🌿. Geen voorkennis vereist. Deze workshop is gebaseerd op het oorspronkelijke onderzoek van het Body Weather Laboratory ontwikkeld door Min Tanaka en de Mai Juku Collective (Japan). Verwacht je aan doorgedreven training, duur, wisselende beats, doorlopende choreo s, voorwaarts evolueren, samen in verschillende snelheden schakelen, voortstuwende energie.
Op het slotweekend van het broeiseizoen begin november wordt dit materiaal een CTWLK performance.

Hoewel aangeraden de hele workshop te volgen, kan uitzonderlijk ook een deelname van éen of meerdere dagen, deelname komt dan op 40 euro per dag, 24 euro (-30), 10 euro per dag.

A creative workshop exploring the language of the catwalk. We use M/B training as our starting point—M/B stands for Muscle/Bone, Mind/Body, and Movement/Brain. These movement sequences incorporate dynamics, collectivity, alertness, rhythm, stamina, coordination, and flexibility. We explore micro-movements, imagery, sensitivity, and touch🌿. No prior experience is required. This workshop is based on the original research of the Body Weather Laboratory, developed by Min Tanaka and the Mai Juku Collective (Japan). Expect intensive training, endurance, shifting beats, continuous choreography, forward momentum, shifting speeds together, and propulsive energy.
During the closing weekend of the 'Broei' season in early November, this material will be transformed into a CTWLK performance.
July 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM | DEVLOER, Stage, Broei.
Contribution:
€200 | €120 (under 30) | €40 (UiTPAS Ghent)
While attending the full workshop is recommended, participation for just one or more days is possible in exceptional cases; the cost is then €40 per day (€24 for under-30s, €10 per day).
