Join Dave "Zamboni" Schneider and his special guests Chris Frantz & Tina Weymouth (Talking Heads / Tom Tom Club) for an electrifying night of live music celebrating the birthplace of new wave and punk.
Where did Punk and New Wave begin? CBGB's! This night will celebrate the music that made history out of the dingy iconic club including songs by Talking Heads, The Ramones, Blondie, Television, Patti Smith, B-52's, Dead Boys and so much more. Meet the incredible band for the evening. John Pioli, Chris Cavaliere, Kenny Owens, Alex Swift will play and sing classic songs from the era and act as the house band for a group of amazing special guest vocalists. BONUS SUPER GUEST! Founding leader of Lez Zeppelin Steph Paynes will be rocking the mic and guitar for a few songs. Stay tuned for more guests being added. Oh yeah, The Zambonis play too! But wait, other vocalist include Hazel Foley, Liz Ashkins, Brendan Toller, Greg Poore, Matt Smith and more. The night will be hosted by Dave Zamboni and will feature a special appearance by the king and the queen of the NYC scene, Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth. This ain't your average tribute show.
