The CT Blues Society sponsors a First Sunday Blues Jam at The Pine Loft in Berlin CT through April. The CTBS All-Stars (River City Slim, Phil Caron and Joey Primo) are the house band with a different 'guitar star' joining the band each month. This month's jam features Chris 'Otis' Cross. Chris is the leader of the popular Fairfield county band Otis & The Hurricanes. He also currently plays with River City Slim & The Zydeco Hogs, and in years past was part of the seminal Blue In The Face. Musicians bring your instruments - amps, drums, keyboards and PA are provided. The Pine Loft is a full-service restaurant, so bring your appetite! They also have a variety of beers and wines! Music starts at 1:00 PM.
