Dance of Embodied Wisdom, guided by Katherine Allen, is a conscious movement practice to awaken your innate wisdom.Through our movement practice we tend to our nervous system, release stress and replenish our whole body. By coming together in community, we remember that we are not alone and our body re-patterns a sense of connectivity and support.
The body is more than just a vehicle for our mind; it is a living system that requires tending with presence.
Dance supports us to feel, express and release which is radically healing, liberating and empowering.
I invite you to explore the transformative power of movement.
This bimonthly conscious movement class is your playground for soothing the nervous system, building trust in your body, and reclaiming your true essence.

Location: 280 Country Club Road, Avon, CT (at West Avon Congregational Church) Our rented hall is spacious with large windows. There is plenty of parking.

What is it like? Music is playing when you arrive. There is a warm-up, a brief introduction and opening circle, then you will be guided into your own dance with gentle guidance and a soundscape of world music beats. You can take your own space or dance with the group. No talking and no phones on the dance floor. Use the floors, chairs, or walls. Make the dance your own!
Moving with the alive, wise, connected parts of yourself, you can connect with more of who you truly are and embody your unique power, beauty and grace as you move through the world.

Katherine Allen and Lisa Galinski, internationally certified Azul Conscious Movement teachers, are heart-centered guides who offer movement sessions in settings ranging from women's circles to corporate leadership teams, helping you to embody more of who you truly are. Through bimonthly conscious movement community events and workshops, we create transformative experiences in Greater Hartford, CT and serving New England. Our mission is to help you foster a sense of freedom and clarity that extends beyond the dance floor into your life.
