CSUE Emergency Disaster Training

This training is open to all CSUE staff or CSU staff that have an Extension appointment that is interested in understanding how disaster preparedness, response and recovery will be promoted through the CSU system particularly through Extension. We will touch on a variety of disaster responses including fire, floods, infrastructure collapses such as the highway 50 bridge or I25 train derailment and other related concerns. Topic areas will include but aren’t limited to: building C.A.R.T teams, understanding mental health impacts during disasters, FEMA trainings and doing a group tabletop exercise that will allow you to learn what you know for you community disaster planning and what areas could you expand on. All PRU topic areas are invited to this event and staff from campus are also welcome to join.
