About this Event
With its captivating scenery and gripping martial arts sequences, Ang Lee’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon tells the story of a 19th-century warrior (Chow Yun-Fat) who gives his sword to his secret love (Michelle Yeoh) for safekeeping. Watch the adventure and romance unfold as the CSO performs Tan Dun’s enchanting, Oscar-winning score. Additionally, you will explore the music in a free pre-concert conversation featuring Weston Williams in the Orchestra Hall 75 minutes before the performance.
Ticket sales: January 3rd, 7 PM Central ($10)
THIS IS NOT A VALID TICKET AND WILL NOT GRANT ACCESS TO THE VENUE.
To access the event, you must pick up your ticket on the day at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from a dedicated GC member.
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED IF REQUESTED WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE EVENT. See information here for reselling tickets.
Re-sellers and purchasers must coordinate payment independently. UChicago Grad Council will not facilitate any transfers.
Once payment has been coordinated, resellers can change the name on their ticket to the purchaser.
