Discover the Wonders of Science at College of San Mateo!
Join us for a day packed with exciting workshops, hands-on demos, planetarium shows, and a captivating keynote presentation by NASA scientist Dr. Brian Day. Whether you're building in our Makerspace, watching Chef Ed create comets, or stargazing with our astronomy faculty, there's something for everyone. This event is free and open to the public—a perfect opportunity for future scientists to explore and learn!
Highlights:
• Science Workshops & Planetarium Shows: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Fire Engine & Firefighting Demo: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Keynote Lecture: Lunar Landing Sites: Past and Future by Dr. Brian Day (NASA) – 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM, with a reception to follow.
• Astronomical Observations: 9:15 PM – 11:00 PM, at the CSM Rooftop Observatory
