CSForNY Virtual State Summit

The CSForNY State Summit is an annual opportunity to build and amplify momentum to reach all New York students with quality, equitable, and sustainable K-12 computer science, AI, and data science education programs.

The 2024 Summit has two sections:

Virtual on Friday 11/15 from 8am - 1pm: The CSForNY Virtual State Summit will be held on Hopin, an online conference platform, with keynote panels and sessions appropriate for all audiences, especially educators and those who are not be traveling to NYSCATE.

In-Person from Sunday 11/24 - Tuesday 11/26: CSForNY State Summit at the NYSCATE Annual Conference in Verona, NY, which is an in-person event open to all NYSCATE conference attendees. To learn more and purchase tickets, click here.

Why are we hosting the summit?

As of September 2024, all schools need to implement New York's K-12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards. The Summit is an opportunity to learn from other schools and groups about how they are implementing the standards, approaching certification, and building quality, equitable programs.
