The presentation will highlight how BECx activities can be coordinated with specifications, submittals, mock-ups, testing, and field reviews without duplicating the responsibilities of the project team. It will also provide practical strategies for specifiers to incorporate clear BECx requirements into project specifications and establish roles and responsibilities. Ultimately, BECx provides a structured process for identifying and addressing building enclosure issues before they become costly construction or warranty concerns.
