We’re excited to announce that Crystal Palace Performing Arts is undergoing a fantastic revamp and will now be known as Crystal Palace Creative Kids for 2025! Our newly designed programme offers even more opportunities for young people to explore their creativity, develop confidence, and discover new skills in a safe and fun environment.Building on the success of our previous offering, we’ve expanded and enhanced our classes to include fresh activities, new focuses, and flexible options to suit all young performers.
What’s New at CPCK?
• Revamped Class Structure:
• 3:45: Drop Off
• 4:00 – 4:15: Icebreaker Games & Warm-Up
• 4:15 – 5:00: Session 1: Vocal Training (Now Including Opera Singing)
• 5:00 – 5:05: Break
• 5:05 – 6:20: Session 2: Drama, Script Writing, or Costume Making (Rotates Weekly)
• 6:20 – 6:30: Closing Games & Cool Down
• Students will work in smaller groups based on age, ability, or needs, with opportunities to come together for exciting collaborative projects, especially for productions.
End-of-Year Show:
Our new format will culminate in an exciting End-of-Year Show, featuring:
• Original scripts written by students.
• Costumes designed and created by participants.
• Performances showcasing the technical techniques and creative skills learned throughout the year.
Flexible Payment Options:
To make our classes more accessible, we now offer:
• Term payments.
• Pay-as-you-go options.
• The flexibility to attend individual sessions (Session 1 or Session 2).
Spring Term 2025:
• Starts Tuesday 14th January and runs until 25th March 2025.
• This term focuses on improvisation, voice, text, and stagecraft.
• Join anytime during the term with pro-rata fees.
• Half-Term Break: No session on Tuesday 18th February 2025.

End-of-Term Showcase:
Save the date: Tuesday 25th March 2025 at 5:00 PM. Students will present the techniques, skills, and creativity they’ve developed throughout the term in an inspiring end-of-term showcase.

Meet the CPCK team
Katia Del-Rio Smith is a London-based multidisciplinary Artist with a focus in Theatre, Music, and Design has more than 7 years of experience in community and socially engaged facilitation. As a facilitator, Katia has worked in many different environments, most recently Legacy Youth Zone and has worked with young people and adults aged 6 – 60.
Jackie Rogers: Jackie’s background in art and design will allow her to use her expertise to add a creative flair to the project especially when students are designing costumes. She also has extensive experience of working with children which will allow for a more adaptable environment when dealing with children's needs.
