Join State Of The State Parks Podcast hosts, Orange County Native Plant Society members, and California naturalists Chris and Moe, as they revisit their hike from season one episode one at Crystal Cove State Park.
Walk with us up a fairly strenuous path that will reward you with ocean views. This out and back will be heading us up the Moro Ridge Spur to the Moro Ridge Trail. This park was the beginning of their nature education! Join them a few years later, now certified California Naturalists! These two enthusiastic Naturtainers love life and are excited to guide their first hike with the CNPS of Orange County.

Time: 7:00am
Where to Meet: Moro Day Use area second parking lot by the trail map kiosk close to the bridge.
What to Bring: Sturdy trail shoes/boots, water, hat, layered clothing, and optional: snacks, hiking poles, binoculars, camera, iNaturalist and Merlin apps on smartphone.
Hike difficulty: Moderate+. 3-4 hours.
Who can attend: Open to all interested in a fun and fancy free day with these two local roustabouts.
Parking Fee: A $15 Day Pass (or annual pass).
