Crystal Clear Bins Adopt‑A‑Highway Kickoff Cleanup!

📍 US‑70W — 551 U.S. Hwy 70 W (The Old Lidi's)
⏰ 9:00 AM – until its all clean
We’re excited to announce our first official Adopt‑A‑Highway cleanup as part of the North Carolina DOT program! Our signs are being made, our section is ready, and we’re inviting the community to join us as we kick off this four‑year commitment to keeping City of Havelock, North Carolina clean and beautiful.
This is a family‑friendly event, and kids can participate through our Clean Team program — learning how roadside litter affects our rivers, creeks, and ocean.
In the next month you will see NCDOT putting up Adopt-A-Highway signs at US Highway 70 from the Solum Drive Over to Strongbridge.
What we and NCDOT provides:
- Orange Safety Vests
- Gloves, pickup sticks
- Trash and Recycling Bags
- Safety Briefing
What You Bring
- Closed‑toe shoes
- Water
- Sun protection
- A positive attitude
