This Thursday, December 18th is the third Thursday of the month which provides yet another great opportunity to enjoy this now iconic community event and support your local merchants!
The Murrieta Street Fair/ Vendors' Market take place as usual from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. So, If you are looking for a great way to enjoy a Thursday evening and if you are a Murrieta or Inland Empire resident (or don't mind a little drive) come down to Historic Downtown Murrieta this Thursday, December 4th, (and the first and third Thursday of every month) to join a wonderful and now established tradition: the Murrieta Vendors' Market & Street Fair from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The center of the festivities will be at the corner of Juniper and Washington Avenue where there is an incredibly delicious and eclectic collection of food trucks and vendors. Up and down Washington Avenue,(from C Street to B Street) local vendors produce, art crafts, jewelry, clothing and a host of miscellaneous items from decorative pop-up stalls with displays advertising their wares. In addition, many of the local businesses will stay open creating a full street fair atmosphere. This extravaganza has really caught on and will also provide an opportunity to visit the newest edition to the Washington Boulevard shopping scene: Come and visit L&L Boutique, meet Kim Delarosa, the delightful and personable owner, check out thie beautiful clothing, accessories and other unique items while taking advantage of the opportunity for you to check out her entire tasteful and lovely boutique. It's never too early or easier to start your Christmas shopping unless you are addicted to crowds, stress and procrastination?
Washington Boulevard is closed to thru traffic between C Street and Juniper and again between Juniper and B Street so vendors can actually set up in the street! There are some wonderful stores and vendors of art, crafts, jewelry (and just about anything else you might want or need and even a few things you had never thought about before) which you will find intriguing, delightful and affordable and all of which would look absolutely splendid under a Christmas tree.
This Thursday will be performing from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. on on my 6 & 12 string guitars and vocals from his residential spot (I am very proud to have been part of this event since its inception 😎) in front of the Peacock (right next to the aforementioned L&L Boutique) located at 24785 Washington Avenue. This Thursday I will be preceded by the lovely and talented Myah Valenzuela from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.. Myah is a wonderful young talent who has played with me before and I look forward to hearing her perform once again. Come on down, say hi, listen to and request some tunes and check out the wonderful vendors.
This entire event is family and pet friendly it's a wonderful chance to interact with and get to know your neighbors and your community!! I hope to see you there.
