Join us for a community cruise as we come together to honor and celebrate the life of Jaxson Michael Christ while supporting families facing the unimaginable challenge of childhood illness.
Jaxson was nine years old when he was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), a rare and aggressive pediatric brain cancer that attacks the brain stem. He was diagnosed in June 2023 and bravely fought until December 2023, after receiving one round of radiation.
Jaxson lived life with adventure, energy, and joy until his final moments, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His loss sits deeply in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
This annual cruise is held in honor of Jaxson and in celebration of his half birthday, a milestone he unfortunately never reached. Our goal is to celebrate the life he loved while raising community awareness and support for families facing the financial burdens that come with caring for a seriously ill child.
When families must make their child their top priority, everyday necessities can become overwhelming. Through this event, we hope to ease that burden and support local families in need, just as our family was blessed to receive support during our own journey.
Event will begin at Knights Ferry Recreation and end at Kennedy Meadows Baker Camp Ground with a BBQ Dinner.
