Rev your engines and roll into a school year full of possibility! Cruising Toward Success: Backpack Giveaway for Military & Veteran Families is designed to be a high-energy, community-powered back-to-school celebration created to honor and uplift our military-connected families as they gear up for the year ahead.

Set outdoors in the parking lot of our Cohen Clinic at VVSD, San Diego, this all-ages event blends the shine of a standout car show with the warmth of community, the rhythm of live music, and the buzz of family-friendly entertainment. In partnership with the San Diego Car Enthusiasts, we're rolling out something special — free backpacks loaded with school supplies for children ages 5–18, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children's registration is required to receive a backpack.

Families will also have the chance to connect with local resource organizations dedicated to serving military, veteran, active-duty, Reserve, National Guard, and caregiver families — offering meaningful support, services, and community connections all in one place.

So bring the kids, bring your spirit, and cruise on in! Together, we'll help our youngest heroes-in-training start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to shift into success.
