🌊 All aboard the Magnolia Blossom at Watergate Marina, 2500 Crosby Farm Rd, St. Paul, MN 55116. Guests will enjoy light, refreshing snacks and a cash bar on their dreamy glide down the beautiful Mississippi.
🏆 The KFAI Blues Cruise is booked and hosted by emcee and 2026 Jo McMullen Boyer Broadcaster of the Year Lady J Griot (Jacquie Maddix) of KFAI’s Songs of the Soul!
🥇 This year’s cruise welcomes award-winning saxophonist Steve Clarke and professional Jazz vocalist Dorothy Doring.
🎷 Steve Clarke is a Minnesota musician, entertainer, bandleader, and multi-instrumentalist whose career includes 11 Minnesota Music Awards, three Grammy nominations, and induction into the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame. A familiar presence around the Twin Cities, Steve performs with several musical projects, including The Working Stiffs, Other Country Ensemble, Edmonds Station, and Louis & Clarke. You may have even encountered him playing solo for travelers passing through Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
🎙️ Dorothy Doring is a seasoned jazz, rock, R&B, swing, and blues vocalist and songwriter, and the lead vocalist for the popular swing band Swingin’ on a Star. Well known on the Twin Cities music scene, Dorothy has brought her extensive jazz repertoire to stages including the Dakota Jazz Club, Crooners Supper Club, MN Music Cafe, and the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, as well as Snug Harbor in New Orleans.
⛴️ Boarding begins at 7:00 p.m. The Magnolia Blossom embarks promptly at 7:30 p.m. and returns to shore at 9:30 p.m.
🎟️ Tickets are $70 in advance and $75 the week of the event.
