Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company welcomes firefighters to spend the day with Kyle as he breaks down Cruel Intentions & The Stretch, sharing hard-earned lessons and fireground-focused instruction built for today’s challenges.
Cruel Intentions & The Stretch is a focused classroom session built for today’s fireground realities. Modern fires are growing, spreading, and overwhelming structures faster than ever before. To meet that challenge, nozzle firefighters must think critically, act decisively, and operate independently when conditions demand it. This class takes a deep dive into the responsibilities and decision-making of the first-due engine company, with a strong emphasis on independent nozzle operations. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of stretch considerations, positioning, flow paths, and aggressive—but calculated—fire attack strategies. This is not theory for theory’s sake. This is about mindset, execution, and purpose on the line—developing nozzle firefighters who act with intent and control when it matters most.
