CRREM Pathways in Practice: Lenders’ Roundtable

The European real estate finance market is at the forefront of the low-carbon transition. Banks and private lenders can play a pivotal role insteering capital toward resilient, future-proof real estate. However,implementing decarbonization targets in line with the CRREMPathways, the global industry standard for Paris-aligned real estatedecarbonization, is proving complex.

This roundtable, jointly convened by CRREM and CREFCE, bringstogether leading banks, private lenders, and industry experts todiscuss how CRREM-based targets can best be integrated into lendingpractices.

The session aims to foster an open exchange amongst key players onboth the challenges and solutions for aligning loan books with science-based climate goals while facilitating real world decarbonization andsafeguarding portfolio performance.
