This session is only for London College of Fashion students and graduates. It is aligned to your Graduate Futures careers and employability journey.
In today’s competitive job market, it’s not enough to simply apply for roles—you need to stand out. From crafting attention-grabbing applications to showcasing your unique strengths, setting yourself apart is the key to landing interviews.
- Are you confused about where is the best place to find job vacancies?
- Unsure of what to prepare to begin applying for jobs online?
- Do you want to approach companies but don’t know where to start?
Join this session and equip yourself with the skills and confidence to discover where to find job vacancies, how to leverage your network, outreach to employers to seek out opportunities not advertised and learn strategies to navigate the recruitment process and make your applications stand out!

- , Graduate Futures Careers Consultant: Leveraging over 30 years of experience as a Buyer, Headhunter and now Consultant, Melanie has worked with a number of brands including Christian Louboutin, Vivienne Westwood, AllSaints, Threads Styling and Sweaty Betty on projects relating to talent acquisition and executive search. Passionate about helping to build both brands and careers through putting the right people, in the right place at the right time she continues to use her industry expertise to coach and inspire the next generation looking to pursue careers in fashion.
