CROWSKIN - Celebrating 20 Years of Feedback, Noise and Musical Destructionwith special guests CONFUSION MASTER and CAFFEINE!
20 years ago, some people from Potsdam met at the Archiv to play music. Coming mostly from bands that played fast thrashing hardcore, this time it should be slow grinding stuff instead, call it "sludge", "doom" or whatever. Impressed by the first song on the obscure IABHORHER 7" on Slap A Ham Records, they named themselves CROWSKIN. By summer 2005 they had enough material together to play their first show with KYLESA at the forementioned Archiv.
20 years, a whole bunch of shows and records later, we are still around and we'd like to celebrate that we're still drowning in waves of feedback, noise and monster riffs. Who would have thought...?
We're more than happy to share our enthusiasm with two bands who we went quite some paths along with:
CAFFEINE from Hannover are longtime friends who we often shared the stage with in their older projects such as CAVE CANEM or PERTH EXPRESS (anyone remember HAVARIE...?). With CAFFEINE, they will arrive with tons of heavy bulldozer riffs and grooves to rock you down to the ground. Rawk Music as it was meant to be - serious bad ass shit!
CONFUSION MASTER from Rostock may also appear "new" in comparison to us, but we know the guys behind them for ages, also travelled and played together and meanwhile have become label mates on the fabulous Exile On Mainstream Records label. There was no way they would not be on the bill, so let them pull you into their demented, relentlessly grooving psychedelic SABBATH/WIZARD worship depths!
