CROWN Day Beauty Experience

In partnership with Cleveland's NAACP Chapter, FELOH is thrilled to celebrate CROWN Day by raising visibility to the CROWN Act, which has not yet passed in Ohio. The C.R.O.W.N. Act stands for “Create a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair,” and was created in 2019 to ensure protection against race and ethnicity-based hairstyle discrimination by extending statutory protection to hair texture and protective styles such as braids, locs, twists, afros and bantu knots in the workplace and public schools.
