...and we mean it! This offering is truly for every kind of BODY.

We believe yoga is more than just a sport or an exclusive club--the practice of yoga is TRULY a life-changing and life-saving practice.

With that being said, we believe yoga teachings and practices should be available to every BODY, regardless of anyone's experience level, body shape, body color, financial standings, social status, or any other inhibiting factors.

The Studio Cleveland offers donation-based Yoga for Every BODY classes throughout the warm months all throughout Cleveland.

We host classes at easily accessible and beautiful locations so everyone can find an hour of quiet, beauty, nature, disconnection from daily responsibilities, mindful movement & breath and peace.

It is recommended you wear clothing that is comfortable and appropriate for the weather. Please bring a mat or a towel to practice on. Water and sunscreen are recommended as it can get hot and sunny outside!

Kids and pets can attend as long as they do not disturb others!

Our Story:

Yoga for Every BODY started almost ten years ago when Brittany Gaul, former yoga teacher at The Studio Cleveland, starting hosting donation-based classes at Edgewater Beach Sundays at 10am.

In 2018, Brittany moved to Washington State and passed the torch to the present owner of The Studio, Sara Syed.

Sara kept Brittany's tradition alive by offering regular, weekly donation-based classes at Edgewater Beach.

In the summer of 2020, during the beginning of the global pandemic and all gyms and indoor classes were closed, Sara saw a major need to help people with their mental health due to all of the stress the pandemic brought. Since most indoor spaces were closed, or were at very limited capacity, and most people were nervous to practice yoga indoors, Sara sought the opportunity to expand the Yoga for Every BODY offerings from weekly to DAILY.

The response was HUGE. The people of Cleveland NEEDED yoga. They needed the outdoor space to feel safe. They needed connection with others in a safe way after being quarantined for months. They needed nature. They needed to relax and to breathe. They needed YOGA.

The infamous 10am Sunday at Edgewater Beach grew to include regular classes at Edgewater Park, Lakewood Park Solstice Steps, and more.

Daytime and evening classes started being offered to honor more people's variable schedules.

Sara brought on more teachers to help provide income to other yoga teachers in the area, as well as to be able to help reach more people.

These donation-based outdoor offerings now reach thousands of people each year. This year (2024), we have even more offerings in even more locations! (Please see the photo of the scheduled dates as times, as well as thestudiocleveland.com/classes!)
