After last year’s successful tour, Crown Ballet® returns this year to the UK to enchant you with the delightful production of The Nutcracker and the magic of classical ballet, performed live on stage.
The Nutcracker is a charming fairy tale and one of the jewels of Tchaikovsky's repertoire. Prepare to enter a magical new world – a nutcracker in this ballet may be a handsome prince in disguise.
The original Christmas story is based on The Nutcracker and the Mouse King written by E.T.A. Hoffmann. It tells the story of Marie, a sad little girl whose godfather, Drosselmeyer, gives her a nutcracker doll as a present on Christmas Eve. In her lively imagination it turns into a prince and the magic starts…
