Seattle’s most unfiltered literary series is BACK! for its last installment for the foreseeable at The Mountain Room.
Seattle, WA — Playwright-turned-author Paul Mullin is back with his literary reading series: Crowd Mouth Lit, kicking off Sunday, October 25 at 6:00 PM at The Mountain Room (The Bar at the R!), promising an evening of literature that’s loud, lit and local!
No podiums. No preciousness. Just a mic, a crowd, and words that leave a mark.
CROWD MOUTH LIT is a long-standing Northwest literary series that has earned a reputation for its gritty venues, theatrical flair, and compelling writers who bring literature out of ivory tower online lit journals and into the warmly fertile rooms of real life.
This special installment features:
Featured guest author, Dawson Nichols: I Might be Edgar Allan Poe, Escher’s Hands, and Terminal Dispatch, just to name a few of his astounding works for stage and page.
A brand new, never-before-read-in-public excerpt from Paul Mullin’s new novel One Cherry Deep, read by Anise Rau & Tessa Weinland.
An autumn cornucopia of ghastly ghostly offerings from local writers Adrienne Clark, Mark Nichols, and Laurel Anne White.
Live music by Josh Parks and Catherine Roth.
Plus, much, much more!
